From the Marketing Office

Keep up with what is happening in the world of marketing! This section will be where we share campaign updates, any upcoming events, or any other news that may be relevant. Check out some of the work the marketing team has been doing recently:

  • HashiCorp Vault Webinar: We are hosting an IBM-funded webinar centered around HashiCorp Vault on September 17th. Jake Lundberg (Field CTO, IBM) and Darren Mills will be the webinar speakers. Attendees who participate in a call will receive an RTIC tailgating cooler as a registration incentive. With our updated landing page now live, marketing is actively driving sign-ups.

  • AWS AI Competency Campaign (Lincoln Learning): We are partnering with 3Marketeers on an AWS-funded customer success campaign featuring Lincoln Learning. 3Marketeers will film a video interview with Lincoln Learning to build a comprehensive case study on our work together. This video will serve as the cornerstone for an upcoming demand generation push highlighting CleanSlate’s AWS AI capabilities.

  • AWS Partner Newsletter: This August we launched the first edition of our recurring CleanSlate SCALE Insights newsletter for our AWS audience. This newsletter is designed to keep our key AWS contacts informed and engaged. The newsletter will feature CleanSlate events, customer success stories, and joint resources. Establishing this consistent channel will strengthen our partner relationships and keep CleanSlate top of mind.

Executive Dinner: AI Beyond the Backlog

CleanSlate and AWS co-hosted "AI Beyond the Backlog," a listening-and-learning executive dinner where CXOs shared candid, rotating conversations on turning generative AI strategy into real enterprise value, covering what's working and where challenges remain. Nathan Liston kicked things off with CleanSlate's insights and key takeaways.

  • Data governance, ownership, and access was the #1 customer trend

  • Using AI effectively when resources are limited

  • How organizations keep learning and innovating

  • New selling opportunities surfaced directly from the conversations

This is what partnership looks like in practice.

Intern Spotlight:

Our 5 summer interns brought incredible energy, fresh perspectives, and hard work to CSTG this summer! Working across technical and creative initiatives, they dove head-first into valuable work. We are so proud of what they accomplished over the summer and can’t wait to see where their careers take them next!

Charlie Ernst- Data Analyst Intern

Internship Project: Developed internal tools for the Data/AI team and worked alongside Bennett and Devan to bring CleanSlate’s new AWS tenant online.

Favorite Part of the Summer: Getting to collaborate in the office with other interns and coworkers.

Sydney Booth- Marketing & Demand Generation Intern

Internship Project: Ran CSTG’s social media while developing a new strategy to boost engagement. Also launched the new internal newsletter and conducted thought leadership interviews to power a new LinkedIn campaign.

Highlight of the Summer: Getting to learn from and collaborate with such knowledgable and welcoming people.

Lucy Clark- Marketing & Demand Generation Intern

Summer Project: A Brand Awareness campaign - main focus was a newsletter for our AWS audience

Highlight of the Summer: My favorite part of the internship was meeting and learning from so many people. Everyone here at CleanSlate is so willing to teach and help with anything. This was my first office experience, and I learned so many valuable lessons and skills throughout the summer. The culture and the people here are amazing, and I will always look back fondly on this summer!

Bennett Proffitt- Associate Engineer Intern

Internship Project: Working on a CSTG Landing Zone Accelerator

Highlight of the Summer: Learning AWS cloud architecture concepts and best practices from highly experienced engineers.

Devan Healy- Associate Engineer Intern

Internship Project: I helped build and deploy an enterprise AWS landing zone platform that gives any AWS organization production-ready security baselines, then planned and executed the migration of 43 legacy accounts (classifying, decommissioning, and archiving) to transition the company from an unmanaged org to the new structured tenant.

Highlight of the Summer: Entering into a field I didn't have much prior experience in and helping create a beneficial product for CleanSlate.
